Cancellation by Participant:

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, leading to the need for cancellations. To ensure transparency and fairness, we have established the following cancellation policy:

Deposit:

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required at the time of registration to secure your spot in Alchemy Retreats. 

If a participant decides to cancel their reservation:

The $500 deposit is non-refundable.

Filling Your Spot:

Participants have the option to find a replacement to fill their reserved spot.

If a replacement is found:

The participant who found the replacement will be eligible for a full refund, including the $500 deposit.

If he participant is unable to find a participant to fill the space and Alchemy Retreats finds one, you will be eligible for full refund minus the $500 deposit.

The replacement must complete the registration process and payment in full.

Retreat Cancellation by Organizers:

In the highly unlikely event that Alchemy Retreats is canceled by the organizers, participants will receive a full refund, including the deposit, within a reasonable timeframe. 

By registering for Alchemy Retreats, participants acknowledge and agree to adhere to this cancellation policy.

Passports & Visas:

You must have a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits, and certificates for the countries which you will visit during your trip. Your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits, and certificates for your trip; please refer to the trip details for more information.  We are not responsible if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct travel documentation.

Acceptance of Risk

By booking a retreat with Alchemy Retreats, you acknowledge that you have voluntarily signed up to participate in a experience with the knowledge of the numerous risks and dangers involved including, but not limited to: Physical exertion for which you are not prepared; forces of nature; transportation failures whether by plane, train, auto, boat, canoe, kayak, bicycle, skis, horseback or other animal, by foot, or by any other conveyance; consumption of alcoholic beverages; risks associated with food or impure water; civil unrest; terrorism; criminal activity; dangers associated with wild or other animals; breakdown or failure of bicycles or other equipment; high altitude; accident or illness without access to means of rapid evacuation or availability of medical supplies or services; the adequacy of medical attention once provided; and stolen, lost or misplaced luggage or property. You acknowledge that the enjoyment and excitement of adventure travel is derived in part from the inherent risks incurred by travel and activity beyond the accepted safety of life at home or work and that these inherent risks contribute to such enjoyment and excitement, and are a reason for your participation. By booking this retreat, you agree to be responsible for your own welfare and accept the risks associated with traveling.

Limitation of Liability

Alchemy Retreats does not own or operate any entity which provides, or is to provide, goods or services for your trip, including, for example, lodging facilities, transportation companies, food service providers, equipment suppliers, babysitters or daycare providers, etc. Alchemy Retreats responsibility is strictly limited. Alchemy Retreats is not responsible for the acts or failures to act, willfully or otherwise, of its suppliers, or of any other third party over whom Alchemy Retreats has no control. As event organizers, Alchemy Retreats promotes, organizes and sells retreat vacations, which consist of surface transportation, excursions and accommodations that Alchemy Retreats purchases or obtains from suppliers, who are themselves independent contractors separate from Alchemy Retreats.

Alchemy Retreats is not liable for any bodily injury or harm, accidents, property damage or personal loss as a result of, but not limited to: physical exertion for which the participant was not prepared; such as travel, forces of nature, heat exhaustion, or the availability of medical services in the area. Alchemy Retreats is also not liable for expenses that are not specified as included in the price of the trip but may be required to get to/from a starting or ending point. Alchemy Retreats reserves the right to make hotel and/or route alterations in order to improve the quality of a trip or better accommodate its guests. Alchemy Retreats is not responsible for expenses incurred by guests in preparing for travel (e.g. non-refundable advance purchase of air tickets, equipment, travel insurance, etc.) or for any additional travel arrangements made on your own.

By booking this retreat, you acknowledge that the cost of all Alchemy Retreats retreats are based upon executing this Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability agreement.  Therefore, as lawful consideration for being permitted to participate in such trip(s), you hereby release and discharge forever, Alchemy Retreats, from and against any and all liability upon booking.

Medical services or facilities may not be readily available or accessible during all or part of the trip. Travel insurance, cancellation insurance and medical insurance for abroad are the sole responsibility of you (the traveler). You are responsible for selecting a trip appropriate to your abilities and interest. You are responsible for being in sufficiently good health to undertake the trip, to prepare for the trip by studying the itinerary and pre-departure materials sent by Alchemy Retreats and for bringing the appropriate clothing and equipment as advised therein. 

Alchemy Retreats reserves the right to refuse as a trip participant, or remove from a trip, any person it judges to be incapable of meeting the rigors and requirements of participating in the activities, or who it determines to detract from the enjoyment of the trip by others. 

Photos and Marketing

By participating in a Alchemy Retreats, you understand that we reserve the right to take photographic or film records of any of our trips and to use any such photographic or film records for promotional and/or commercial purposes, including use by third parties with whom we may engage in joint marketing, without any remuneration to you. Alchemy Retreats reserves all right, title and interest in any media from the retreat.
